2012 Workshops with Rachel Naomi Remen, M.D. Now in our ninth year of offering continuing education workshops at the Acqua Hotel in Mill Valley CA, we have two for health professionals in 2012. We hope you can join us! When we bring our whole heart into our work, we tap into a lineage of healing that dates back in time and invite mysteries and graces that often cannot be explained. A clinic or hospital room is its own kind of universe—a place where fears and hopes intersect with the power and precision of science. This can be a place of contraction or expansion, a place of aloneness or connection, a place of routine or discovery. What really matters is having the courage to be fully present to what is happening in that moment. In our 2012 workshops and trainings we invite you to join us on a journey of rediscovery into the heart of your work and its personal meaning for you. Through various experiential processes, such as small group discussion, poetry, storytelling, journal writing, symbols and imagery—each of our workshops creates a solid structure of support for an exploration into the joys and challenges of a life of service.
