I have Crohn's and somtimes it kicks my butt. So If you can pray for this thing to be taken from me. Man would that be Awesome. I know Jesus can do it. So agree with me in prayer that I and others can be delivered. I want to feel better and sleep at night. I want to quit worrying about this thing and get on with the dance. So if you have a minute pray for me. My name is Chris, and I will recieve any prayer you can give. Blessings!!! Chris

I have been living with Crohn's disease for almost 20 years and your books have helped me on so many levels. The feeling of isolation with Crohn's is very embarassing, humiliating and worse of all depressing. It has been the most difficult challenge I have faced in my life. I have had to leave my career in Corporate Human Resource Development. However, the life changes have brought about my artistic nature and inner search for peace. This is where your books have helped me more than you will ever know. I pray that you will write another book very soon. Thank you.

I find your books heartwarming, inspiring, wise, and wonderful!

I start most days by readiing a chapter or two from your books. It is a ritual that helps me to keep a perspective on life and keeps me thankful for what life has to offer rather than worried or resentful. You and your words are an inspiration to me and I thank you for sharing your life with us.

Dr. Remen, I have read and re-read your books and articles, listened to your tapes and attended a 2 day workshop of yours. I am the Executive Director of Mission and Service at my hospital and we are transforming our healing culture into Sacred Work. Your perspectives and blessings are used oftenby us - to help us fulfill the sacred trust we have with those serve. I hope it warms your heart to know - just by the comments in this "guestbook," -- how profoundly you connect to the deeper places in all of us. Thank you for your committment to your own wholeness that you so graciously let us draw strength and courage from. Namaste

Dr. Remen,

I would like to ask you to consider writing another book so that we can experience your new and deeper insights since your last book. I think we would all consider it as "Your continued blessings."

A very happy Christmas to you and all of yours!

Dear Dr. Remen,

I am an Opera singer. I have had very few health problems (I give thanks!), but your books have helped to heal my soul and give me my voice. They are full of such beautiful wisdom. Thank you!

Dr. Remen,
My partner went through colon cancer a year and a half ago, someone gave her your book, KITCHEN TABLE WISDOM, and I ended up reading it before she did. It is the most significant book I have read in my lifetime (I am 62). Thank you!
(My cholesterol went up 60 points since. Thanksfully, she is cancer free now).

Thank you.
I shed a lot of tears reading your book "My Grandfather's Blessings". I can hear your blessings for all living things. I wish that I could always feel your warm heart.

I received your book "My Grandfather's Blessings" in an order from amazon; it was not actually ordered! I thank you for all of your wisdom and your sharing it. I am not in the medical field, I am an artist but your book reads for us all and it has touched me deeply. There are no accidents I was meant to read your book even as you were to write it. Thank you.

Thank you for the book "Kitchen Table Wisdom" My 13 year old daughter was diagnosed with Crohn's in Sept. 08 and someone gave me your book. In the last year that we have been in and out of hospitals and surgery - your book has given me a sense of peace and strength. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart does not seem adequate enough.

Dear Ms. Remen,
I want to thank you for your work, especially "In Service of Life." I am a caregiver's coach. I teach them tools and techniques for coping with emotional challenges. Whenever I lead a workshop, I refer to your work -- it's message is so needed by caregivers.
I will be writing to request permission to use an excerpt in my upcoming book, "Caregiving Mindfully: A Handbook for Peace and Personal Power." For now, please accept my profound gradeleteude.

Sincerely,
Holly Whittelsey Whiteside

Thank you for sharing your journey and the awesome stories. Your stories help me see Life more clearly, and they establish renewed trust in humanity at a time when we seem surrounded by the erosion of trust and truth in the U.S.
I retired as a CPA and am involved in energy healing (e.g. Reiki) which is incomprehensible to my very Catholic and Western medicine-oriented family. How beautiful and reassuring is your story Touching. Thank you so much for all your stories and your honesty in sharing your own story.

Dear Rachel,
I found a copy of "My Grandfather's Blessings" in a local thriftshop, and started reading it every night before bed. I just want you to know what a beautiful gift of love and wisdom is wrapped up in those pages... I read with tears of joy every night and feel the healing of compassion wash over me. I do not have a dramatic story to tell, only a desire to say "Thank You" for your clarity, strength, spiritual depth and sweetness. Many many blessings to you, dear one.

Rachel-
Your take on Service to others, Vs. Service to self, plus free will, is the
most compelling of your theories per critical care on end stage Ca.
Your sumary was the best of numerous papers written on this subject. My findings support you 100%.Would love to talk with you.

Dear Dr. Remen: I have read and re-read My Grandfather's Blessings, and Kitchen Table Wisdom, usually before falling asleep. I have laughed and cried so many times. You have been a soothing presence in my life the last few years. Currently, I am at a cross roads, as far as growing my business versus service to the elderly. I am going back to your books to obtain perspective; I know the answer. May God Bless You and Keep you, May He Shine His Face Upon You.

Dear Dr. Remen,
Hello, thank you for your books Kitchen Table Wisdom and My Grandfather's Blessings. I've read the first and am in the midst of the second. I am a breast cancer survivor and will be a fighter for the cause against all cancers the rest of my life. I've cried and laughed a lot thru your writings. I so identify with the subtler connecting with others you speak of. This is my world. I am almost 60 yrs. old and have been aware of being a person of vision literally and figuratively for many years. Since the breast cancer I am so much more one with the light so much more of the time. And shedding negativity and darkness and being drawn to the light and having the deepest of gradeleteude for each day. Thank you for sharing the wisdom, the story after story. I am a Jew and tried Orthodox Judaism for a number of years in my spiritual quest. Not quite for me but I have taken special things and keep them close to my heart much like you have done with your dear grandfather's blessings. Many blessings to you for the New Year and for a long and happy life. May you be inscribed in the Book of Life for health, happiness, love and spiritual growth. Love and hugs, Nancy

Rachel -

Your writing (storytelling) has inspired me. As a Quaker I find many things that "speak to my condition". I am grateful for your openess and honesty and willingness to encourage healthcare professionals to be more human in thier treatment of patients. I was very fortunate to have a Doctor who understood this when my step-father fell ill and died. I will forever remember his kind words and understanding. My best to you and yours always.

I have given Grandfathers Blessings and Kitchen Table Wisdom to many - some even health care professionals. I do not get feedback from them, but hope they read them. They truly need redirection. When I feel lost or off the path I read them myself over and over again. Each time they bring healing and centering of self.
God's blessings and long life!
Thank you!
